Job summary

A-dec is seeking a software engineer to contribute to embedded systems, Linux/RTOS, and application frameworks. You will design, develop, test, and maintain software across firmware and software boundaries, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

You will apply Agile practices, write clear documentation, and review code. Familiarity with Yocto, Qt, bootloaders, and kernels is a plus; candidates with strong communication and problem-solving skills will thrive.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, code, troubleshoot, and debug software applications.
• Develop new solutions and study customer needs to improve product design.
• Analyze issues and coordinate design reviews for prototypes and field problems.
• Test software thoroughly and coordinate verification tests.
• Create and maintain software documentation with diagrams and flowcharts.
• May direct work of drafters, technicians, and others on small projects.
