Actalent is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to lead the design, implementation, and testing of Linux-based systems with display/touchscreen capabilities. You will help define architecture and drive code-quality practices across the team.

The role requires a DO-178 background, strong C/C++ skills, RTOS knowledge, and experience with automated testing, TDD, CI, and Agile methods. You will mentor peers, perform code reviews, and collaborate across teams to deliver robust solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS, software engineering, or related field.
• At least two years of product development and professional C++ experience.
• Minimum two years of DO-178 experience.
• Strong C/C++ and embedded software fundamentals.
• Experience with RTOS, automated testing, TDD, CI, and Agile/Scrum.

Lead the design, implementation, testing, and delivery of robust software for Linux-based embedded systems, including display and touchscreen systems, while applying sound architecture and code-quality practices. Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, cross-team collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related engineering discipline, at least two years of product development and professional C++ experience, and a minimum of two years of DO-178 experience. Candidates should have strong C/C++ and embedded software fundamentals, RTOS knowledge, and experience with software design, automated testing, TDD, CI, and Agile or Scrum methods.
