Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in software development in a semiconductor, embedded software, firmware, platform software, or related engineering environment.
• Working knowledge of programming fundamentals, software design, debugging, and testing practices.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and business stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience with semiconductor product development, embedded systems, firmware, platform software, or software tools; familiarity with version control and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, test, and maintain software components in support of semiconductor products, platforms, tools, or embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across software engineering, hardware engineering, validation, quality, product management, and operations.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following standards and development processes; support reviews and testing.
• Participate in Agile development activities: sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, retrospectives, and releases.
• Partner with technical teams to understand system architecture, interfaces, and release requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners; promote engineering discipline and continuous improvement.
