Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Sr Principal Engineer Embedded Software to lead development and debugging of software/firmware for combat electromagnetic environments. You will work with bench software to diagnose issues, write automation scripts, and support customers with SUT and emitter scenarios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years.
• Experience with CEESIM hardware/software.
• Experience applying software engineering standards across the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Interact independently with customers and coordinate engineering efforts to identify solutions.
• Provide engineering support to resolve system-level problems on delivered hardware.
• Maintain operational status and configuration of Electronic Warfare Stimulators.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures using STE and test equipment.
