Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, Florida seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and test embedded and real-time software for end-user customers. You will work with Agile teams, contribute to architecture, and handle multiple baselines.

The role requires a STEM degree with significant experience, active Secret clearance, and proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python, plus CI/CD tools. On-site work in Melbourne is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of related engineering experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Agile software development within the last 3 years.
• Experience programming in C/C++ and/or Python for safety/mission-critical systems in the last 3 years.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and software change control.
• Experience with embedded real-time software on RTOS environments.
• Active US Government Secret or higher clearance.
