Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Electronics Engineer – Mission Processing in Melbourne, FL. This role requires in-depth knowledge of computers and electronics for mission processing, data storage, networks, and crypto, with responsibilities spanning architecture, modeling, integration and testing.

The position supports a 9/80 schedule with no hybrid/remote work. Candidates must meet clearance requirements and be able to obtain current security access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 5+ years of related engineering experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Sr. Principal: 8 years related experience or Master’s with 6 years; both in Engineering.
• Experience with model-based systems engineering and Mission Engineering in Cameo or similar tools.
• Experience with developing supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work.
• Experience with Mission Processing, Network and Communication design, development and test methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Document designs with detailed schematics and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate mission subsystems.
• Technical management of partners and suppliers across development, acquisition, and test.
• Develop supplier documentation and statements of work.
