Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Sr. Principal Communications Electronics Engineer in Melbourne, FL. You will contribute to development of communications subsystems, architectures, performance analysis, requirements management, and verification across complex programs.

The role demands active DoD Top Secret clearance, collaboration with multiple teams, and leadership in subsystem integration to meet platform objectives while maintaining security and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related experience or a Master's degree with 6 years of related experience.
• Active, Fully-Adjudicated Secret Clearance required; ability to obtain DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Experience with analysis of communications information exchange requirements (IERs) in TX/RX of Military BLOS, Military LOS, CNS/ATM, or FAA-compliant messaging.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network architectures and topologies for distributed communications.
• Conduct trade studies for subsystem architectures and interfaces.
• Lead development and integration of communications subsystems and components to meet mission objectives.
• Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans; manage supplier documentation and statements of work.
