Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a Software Development Engineer – Drivetrain & Morse Systems to develop embedded software for AWD products at the Propulsion Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI. You will design, implement, test, and maintain software components using C, MATLAB/Simulink, and model-based methods, following Automotive SPICE processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development in automotive/aerospace.
• Experience configuring/interfacing AUTOSAR stacks.
• Experience auto-generating embedded C from models (TargetLink/Embedded Coder).
• Experience with MIL/SIL verification in Simulink or embedded test environments.
• Hands-on debugging of model and source code defects on target hardware.
• ASPICE compliant software development process experience.
• Familiar with automotive networks (CAN).
• Experience with ISO26262 Functional Safety a plus.
