Varmoda is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded software for electronic control systems used in diesel engines, battery-electric systems, and fuel-cell programs. The role spans model-based development, integration, build, verification, and production deployment.

The ideal candidate will have strong C/C++ programming expertise and hands-on embedded controls development, with proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, or Stateflow.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS with embedded-systems focus, or related.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in embedded software.
• Experience in C programming, model-based development, and embedded control software.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and data sheets; troubleshoot complex systems.
• Knowledge of SDLC, requirements, design, verification, and product delivery.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for electronic control systems.
• Develop embedded solutions from requirements through production deployment.
• Program embedded applications using C and C++.
• Apply model-based development practices to embedded control software.
• Develop and integrate control software for diesel engines, battery-electric, and fuel-cell programs.
• Use MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow to model, develop, simulate, and validate control functions.
• Configure, build, test, and verify embedded software components.
• Investigate failures; perform root-cause analysis on software and hardware.
• Collaborate across lifecycle: requirements, specs, development, testing, delivery.
