Job summary

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer Asc in Orlando, FL. You will develop and maintain embedded software applications and desktop applications, including requirements, design, code, testing, and integration for embedded multi-core systems and sensor emulation tools.

The ideal candidate has strong C++ object-oriented skills, experience with Linux, and the ability to obtain DoD clearance. US citizenship is required; SAP considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related software discipline.
• Demonstrated software development experience in C++.
• Experience with operating systems concepts (Linux/Windows/Unix/VxWorks).
• Ability to obtain DoD Clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Embedded Software to include drivers, state machines, multi-threaded applications, etc.
• Integrate complex algorithms into C++ applications.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software for both logical and mathematical solutions and for controlling tactical hardware.
• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software in alignment with policies to accelerate documentation and testing.
• Contribute to detailed design architectures, ensuring alignment of architecture and source code.
