Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer Intern to develop and maintain embedded software for multi-core systems and desktop emulation of sensors. You will work on drivers, state machines, and complex algorithms in C++ within a secure, on-site program.

The role requires a strong C++ background, Linux familiarity, and US citizenship with potential DoD clearance. You will join a large network of software professionals, contributing to multiple programs and gaining

Qualifications

Demonstrated software development experience in C++.
Ability to obtain DoD Clearance.
Must be US Citizen.
Must be working towards a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related software discipline.

Responsibilities

Develop Embedded Software including drivers, state machines, multi-threaded applications.
Integrate complex algorithms into C++ applications.
Design, develop, document, test, and debug software for both logical and mathematical solutions and for controlling tactical hardware.
Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software with AI considerations per policies to accelerate documentation, development, and tests.
Contribute to detailed design architectures, ensuring alignment of architecture and source code.
