Lockheed Martin in Orlando is seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Associate Manager to lead the simulation framework and end-to-end software delivery for embedded C++/Linux applications in an Agile environment. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, ensure design, code, test, integration and verification, and mentor staff while adhering to standards and tools like JIRA, Git and Confluence.

This role requires a US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; the position offers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related sciences
Experience with software design
Experience with embedded software design
Experience with C++ and software development
Implementation and Verification & Validation testing
Must be a US citizen - DoD Secret clearance required

Responsibilities

Lead the Simulation Framework effort, driving end-to-end software delivery for embedded C++/Linux applications in an Agile environment.
Maintain and evolve simulation software libraries that model tactical components and operational environments.
Define, design, code, test, integrate, and verify embedded simulation software using JIRA, Git, and Confluence.
Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, providing technical coaching, career development, and performance feedback.
Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities while ensuring adherence to standards, processes, and tools.
