Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, FL, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer Intern to develop and maintain embedded software for multi-core systems and desktop sensor emulation. You will work closely with hardware teams and contribute to complex algorithms using C++ in a secure environment.

The role requires US citizenship, ability to obtain DoD clearance, and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related software discipline.
• Demonstrated software development experience in C++.
• Ability to obtain DoD clearance; must be US citizen.
• Knowledge of Linux or OS concepts; embedded systems exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop Embedded Software including drivers, state machines, multitasking applications.
• Integrate complex algorithms into C++ applications.
• Design, develop, test, and debug software for embedded hardware and desktop emulation of sensors.
