Job summary

Thompson Software Solutions is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of advanced software systems for a military aircraft platform. This role contributes to mission-critical avionics and embedded capabilities ensuring safety and performance for next-generation aviation systems.

The candidate must work in a team, be self-motivated, and capable of both independent and collaborative work across multiple sites, with a willingness to travel 10% and operate on-site as

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• C++ development for safety-critical avionics systems.
• Real-Time Operating Systems (MOSA.ic, VxWorks, Integrity).
• Embedded application development in Linux, Windows, & Bare Metal environments.
• Software integration & test in lab and hardware environments.
• Ability to work onsite 100%.
• Travel 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and test embedded software for a military aircraft platform.
• Collaborate with multi-site teams on mission-critical avionics software.
