Job summary
Thompson Software Solutions is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to support development of advanced software systems for military aircraft platforms. You will participate in the full software lifecycle—design, integration, and test—within a high-performing, multi-site team.
The role requires on-site work in Atlanta, GA, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Travel up to 10% may be needed; the position offers a competitive salary with bonus eligibility and comprehensive
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
- 5+ years embedded software development experience.
- C++ development for safety-critical avionics systems.
- RTOS experience (MOSA.ic, VxWorks, Integrity).
- Embedded app development using RTOS and Windows environments.
- Software integration & test in lab and hardware environments.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Ability to work onsite 100%.
- Travel up to 10%.
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and test software for avionics platforms.
- Collaborate with a multi-site team on mission-critical software.
- Contribute to software requirements and verification activities.
