Job summary
FlightWave in Torrance, California is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build embedded and perception software for autonomous aircraft. You will own production software across microcontrollers and Linux-based processors, integrate sensors, and support systems from bring-up through flight test.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience developing embedded software for aircraft or autonomous platforms.
- Proficient in C/C++ for microcontrollers and application processors.
- Familiarity with RTOS, embedded Linux, sensors, and data pathways.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain embedded software for aircraft hardware.
- Own features from requirements to verification and flight testing.
- Integrate sensors (EO/IR, IMU, GNSS, radar, lidar) and ensure data integrity.
- Develop perception capabilities and sensor fusion with real-time constraints.
- Lead reviews, drive test automation, and collaborate across teams.
