Job summary

Snap Inc. is hiring an Embedded Engineer to join the SPECS team. You will design and implement embedded software across multiple layers, from kernel to I/O, for prototype and consumer products such as Specs and related devices.

The role requires 6+ years in embedded development, strong C/C++ skills, and familiarity with ARM architecture, Linux Embedded OS, graphics and audio components. Office-based in San Diego with a collaborative, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or EE or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Experience with ARM architecture and C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in embedded software design across prototypes and shipping products.
• Develop components across kernel, I/O, memory management and security.
• Participate in reviews and debugging to deliver reliable solutions.
