Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design and develop embedded control software for electronics such as 3-phase Active Rectifiers, motor control electronics, DC-DC converters, and AC drives used in harsh aerospace environments.

You will take ownership or lead software teams, interface with cross-functional groups, and contribute to system-level design, verification, and process improvements to ensure airworthiness and project success.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced control algorithms for power electronic applications
• Develop control system software requirements for embedded code in 3-phase rectifier and motor control electronics
• Lead or support software design reviews and interface with vendors and customers on technical issues
• Independently own or lead software development efforts for small/medium projects
• Create verification plans and reports to validate product compliance to requirements
