Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of professional experience developing embedded software systems.

• Experience with DO-178 or IEC 61508 safety standards.
• Proficiency in the C programming language.
• Experience with source control and lifecycle management tools.
• Ability to perform diagnostics and root-cause analysis in embedded environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software from concept through product release.
• Create and manage software requirements with traceability.
• Develop and review high-quality source code per standards.
• Debug and troubleshoot on target hardware and simulators.
• Perform root-cause analysis of defects; implement corrective actions.
• Develop verification strategies and test plans for functional and performance requirements.
• Support validation activities and document verification outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
• Assist audits with technical documentation and engineering support.
• Contribute to process improvements for quality and efficiency.
