Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a hands-on Senior Hardware Engineer focused on automotive embedded hardware development. You will lead hardware design from requirements analysis through schematic design, PCB development, validation, and production launch, collaborating with Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Validation teams.

The role requires strong ownership, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 7+ years of automotive embedded hardware development experience.
• Experience with schematic design, PCB development, and hardware verification.
• Experience with CAN and LIN communication integration.
• Experience with requirements management and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer and system requirements and translate them into hardware architecture and design solutions.
• Design and develop automotive embedded electronic hardware solutions with PCB development activities.
• Support hardware architecture development and participate in design reviews.
• Contribute to prototype development, product maturation, and DFX concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate risks and recommendations to customers.
