Job summary

Adecco is partnering with a leading aerospace and defense manufacturer to recruit a Senior Embedded Software Engineer. You will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for safety-critical aerospace applications, supporting the full lifecycle from requirements through certification.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, perform reviews, and ensure compliance with aerospace software standards. This onsite, full-time role may require limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical/Software engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with safety-critical or highly regulated products.
• Familiarity with DO-178 software development processes.
• Experience with embedded requirements management, verification, and certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for safety-critical aerospace applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to certification.
• Translate requirements into software designs with traceability.
• Meet performance, reliability, and certification objectives.
• Conduct design and code reviews and document technical work.
