Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer-EGPWS/Embedded C/C++. The role focuses on design, development, and implementation of advanced systems including hardware, software, and network components, with cross-functional teamwork to meet customer requirements and quality standards.

You will work on deploying complex systems that enhance safety and efficiency, reporting to the Sr Engineering Manager from the Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Software Engineering/Development.
• Expertise in C/C++ embedded engineering and design in an aerospace/avionics environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications for aerospace systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
• Support embedded software development using C++ code.
• Follow established processes and guidelines to support project software lifecycle for the projects assigned to DO-178.
• Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Travel: up to 10%.
• Relocation support may be provided.
