Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in Woburn, MA is seeking embedded software engineers to develop real-time embedded software for the ANTPY-2 UAE Program. You will work on software and firmware design, development, integration, and testing across Linux real-time environments, with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Python.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 2+ years' experience.
Experience developing multithreaded applications.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
Experience Creating and coordinate team meetings, sprint planning and reviews, retrospectives and standups
Experience with backlog readiness for planning and execution
Experience Identifying and champion resolution of impediments
Experience with tracking and reporting team agile metrics

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain real-time embedded software and firmware.
Design, implement, and test software for embedded platforms.
Collaborate with Systems Engineering to generate design concepts and system architecture documentation.
Decompose architecture into software requirements to support development activities.
Apply embedded principles to hardened software applications.
