Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer for our Tucson, AZ site. You will develop real-time missile software in C/C++ and apply security principles across embedded systems.

You will collaborate with Systems Security Engineering, work in a capable development environment, and interface with customers to validate design maturity. A DoD interim secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of relevant software experience.
• Experience with C / C++ in embedded real-time environments.
• Experience with Xilinx UltaScale+ MPSoC or Versal and similar Embedded Processors.
• Experience with embedded OS such as VxWorks or Embedded Linux.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time missile software and perform design, integration and testing.
• Apply System Security principles to missile software designs.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define requirements.
• Develop software using C and C++ across multiple hardware platforms.
• Review code and ensure security-focused implementation.
• Interface with customers to review technical designs and verify system maturity.
