RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer to join the S3E department and help deliver world-class security software for deployed missile systems.

The role requires real-time software design, C/C++, embedded Linux/VxWorks, and the ability to obtain an interim DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. You will collaborate with Systems Security Engineering and interface with customers to assure system maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with 5+ years of software experience.
• Experience with C/C++ on real-time systems and missile software development.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Understand real-time software design and performance implications for System Security.
• Develop and test Missile software in C/C++ across multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define and implement requirements.
• Interface with customer community to review design and verify system maturity.
