Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer for the Tucson, AZ site to design and implement security-focused missile software in real-time systems. The role requires C/C++ expertise, embedded processing, and DoD-level security clearances.

You will collaborate with Systems Security Engineering and customer teams to ensure rigorous verification and system maturity. The position offers an onsite work arrangement with competitive compensation and a strong focus on security-oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM AND a minimum of 5 years of relevant software experience.
• Experience with C / C++ language
• Experience with Xilinx UltaScale+ MPSoC, Versal, or similar Embedded Processors
• Experience with embedded OS like VxWorks, Embedded Linux, or similar
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret Level U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Provide world class Security Software for deployed missile systems.
• Design real-time software with performance considerations for System Security implementations.
• Involve in application and embedded software design, development, integration, and testing of real-time missile software.
• Apply System Security principles to design and implementation of missile software applications.
• Develop software applications using C and C++ on various computing platforms.
• Understand how the position's efforts affect the big picture of the missile system and develop or review detailed solutions at the source code level.
• Collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to define and implement requirements.
• Work in a common development environment to enable program ability to leverage capabilities.
• Interface with the customer to review technical design and support verification of system maturity.
