Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Software Security Engineer in Tucson, AZ to join the Software Security Sensors and Effectors (S3E) Department. This onsite role focuses on real-time missile software security and embedded development.

You will design and implement real-time software, use C/C++, work with embedded processors like MPSoC, VxWorks/Embedded Linux, and collaborate with Systems Security Engineering to ensure program maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of software experience.
• Experience with C / C++.
• Experience with Xilinx UltaScale+ MPSoC, Versal, or similar Embedded Processors.
• Experience with embedded OS like VxWorks, Embedded Linux, or similar.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret Level U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide world class Security Software for deployed missile systems.
• Design and implement real-time missile software with attention to performance.
• Apply System Security principles to missile software applications.
• Develop software using C and C++ on multiple computing platforms.
• Review and develop solutions at the source code level with Systems Security Engineering.
