Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Systems Security Engineer I (P1) to join the SSE team in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role focuses on protecting embedded weapons systems through Anti-Tamper, cybersecurity, and software assurance across DoD programs.

The position requires a STEM degree and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance. You'll work with cross-disciplinary teams to design, implement, test and field real-time security solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.
• Experience or coursework in SSE, Anti-Tamper, cybersecurity, or embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Support SSE solution implementations in Raytheon products.
• Collaborate with customers to define SSE requirements, solutions, costs and schedules.
• Develop plans, estimates, task execution schedules and risk mitigation strategies.
• Guide SSE implementations and architectures for customer systems.
• Conduct attack threat modeling and CPI assessments.
• Develop top-level system requirements and map to subsystems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD release and export licensing policies.
