Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in optical/mechanical engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience designing laser-based opto-mechanical systems for high-performance hardware.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks for complex scalable system design.
• Working knowledge of Zemax for optical layouts and validation.

Responsibilities

• Own opto-mechanical subsystems within an established hardware architecture.
• Design and integrate precision components for lasers, optics, vacuum, and detectors.
• Develop stability, tolerance, and error budgets for opto-mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with physicists and engineers across disciplines to support lifecycle development.
