Job summary

Astronics Advanced Electrical Systems (AES) seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer, Product Support - Power Electronics Systems, to join the Airborne Power Control (APC) Product Team in Redmond, WA. This on-site role offers occasional remote work based on project needs.

Ideal candidates are local to greater Seattle/Redmond with 5+ years in power electronics, power supply design, motor control, and analog design. Relocation is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of direct experience in power electronics, power supply design, motor control and analog design.
• Knowledge of DO-160 and related standards.
• Proficient with schematic and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support in design, development, production and customer support of APC power electronics systems.
• Identify root causes and lead corrective actions.
• Review and prepare technical drawings and data items for component substitutions.
• Operate lab equipment to perform design verification and testing.
