Job summary

Serco is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer onsite with NSWC PCD background to contribute to mission-critical unmanned systems programs in the United States.

You will design mixed-signal hardware, develop schematics and PCB layouts, verify with test equipment, and support full product life cycles while maintaining security clearance requirements.

Applicants should have a B.S. in EE/CE, 5 years of relevant experience, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5 years of similar/related experience.
• Masters Degree will be considered in lieu of 2 years of experience.
• 3 years of experience in embedded hardware design and full product lifecycle development.
• Extensive experience in schematic capture and PCB layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of mixed-signal hardware systems including microcontrollers and power management.
• Create detailed schematics and multi-layer PCB layouts using Altium, Cadence, KiCad, or Xpedition.
• Ensure adherence to signal/power integrity and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Implement microprocessors using C/C++.
• Run test simulations using LTspice or PSpice.
• Assemble, test, and bring-up hardware prototypes.
