Job summary

Paragon Cyber Solutions has an immediate opening for a Software Developer/Engineer to join our team of engineers tackling challenging problems. As the Sr Software Developer/Engineer, you will analyze requirements and implement updates or new CDS developments to support multi-regional missions.

This position requires a Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility, a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred), 5+ years in software development, and strong skills in SELinux, Python, Perl, C++, Java,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field; Master’s preferred.
5+ years of software development experience.
Proficient in SELinux, Python, Perl, C++, Java, Bash, and regular expressions.
Ability to perform reverse engineering and learn new concepts.
Strong troubleshooting and modification skills.

Responsibilities

Improves software quality by identifying issues and establishing SOPs.
Enhances applications by designing and implementing software systems.
Maintains and reviews existing codebases and peer changes.
Liaises with colleagues to implement technical designs.
Investigates and adopts new technologies where relevant.
Defines requirements for software supporting training/testing devices.
Performs software validation, verification, and accreditation; supports CDS issues.
Travels to CDS sites for updates, installations, and training.
Collaborates with CDS vendor during new builds and testing.
Ensures CDSs comply with Raise the Bar updates.
