Job summary

CHAOS Industries seeks a Senior Embedded SW/Firmware Design Engineer to join our team in Hawthorne, CA. Lead complex FPGA designs for radar products and integrate FPGA functionality with software systems for worldwide customers.

You will work closely with R&D to expand capabilities across product families and contribute to full lifecycle FPGA development. The role requires 5+ years of FPGA experience, Verilog/SystemVerilog proficiency, AXI protocol knowledge, and hands-on experience with Vivado

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FPGA design and RTL implementation.
• Experience with FPGA lifecycle: RTL design, simulation, place & route, timing analysis, hardware integration.
• Strong Verilog/SystemVerilog expertise and AXI protocol knowledge.
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado and SoC FPGAs (Zynq/Ultrascale/Versal).
• Proficient in Python/Bash scripting and basic software driver work for FPGA interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex FPGA designs for next-gen radar products.
• Support integration of FPGA with complex software systems.
• Collaborate with teams to deploy FPGA capabilities for U.S. and international customers.
• Work on-site in Hawthorne, CA.
