Job summary

CHAOS Industries in Los Angeles area seeks a highly skilled FPGA Engineer to design and implement complex FPGA solutions for next-generation radar products. You will support system integration and collaborate with software teams to deliver robust hardware designs.

Requirements include 5+ years RTL experience, Verilog/SystemVerilog, AXI/AMBA, and Vivado on Xilinx SoCs. On-site work in Hawthorne, CA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional RTL design experience for FPGAs.
• Experience with RTL design lifecycle: simulation, place&route, timing analysis, hardware integration.
• Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Strong experience with AXI protocols and AMBA interfaces.
• Familiarity with AMD Xilinx Vivado and SoC FPGAs (Zynq, Ultrascale/UltraScale+, Versal).
• Experience with TCP/UDP/IP networking and serial protocols (I2C, JTAG, UART, SPI, CAN).
• Experience scripting with Bash and Python; modifying drivers as needed.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, CI, and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
• U.S. Person status required to access U.S.-only data systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex FPGA designs for sensor products.
• Support system integration of FPGA designs with software.
• Assist deployed FPGA capabilities for U.S. and international customers.
• Work full-time on-site in Hawthorne, CA.
