Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer for Connected Warfare. You will write real-time C for microcontrollers across our platforms, build reusable drivers for sensors and peripherals, and debug issues at the hardware-software boundary alongside Electrical Engineering.

You’ll bring up new boards, read schematics and datasheets, and own firmware from day one. The role emphasizes building, not just maintaining, with production deployments in the field.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1+ years of firmware or embedded software development experience (internships and personal projects count if the work is real).
• Solid C coding ability for embedded systems.
• Experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments.
• Familiarity with bus protocols SPI, I2C, UART (or similar).
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Write firmware in C for microcontrollers across Connected Warfare platforms.
• Develop and integrate reusable device drivers for sensors, peripherals, and communication interfaces.
• Debug issues that span electrical, firmware, and software boundaries using bench tools and embedded debugging techniques.
• Support board bring-up alongside the Electrical Engineering team — reviewing schematics, validating interfaces, and getting new hardware running.
• Contribute to firmware architecture decisions as the codebase grows.
• Ship code to production systems that are deployed in the field.
