Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop the embedded board support package for Teradyne instruments and to participate in key architecture decisions for processors, OS, and tools.

You will architect, implement, verify, and validate Linux BSPs and userspace components, collaborating with Hardware, Software and Systems teams. The role emphasizes scalable, high-performance, and maintainable code, plus build, deployment and test automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience.
• C and C++ (11 or newer).
• Embedded Linux BSP development experience.
• CI/CD integration experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architecture, design, implementation, verification, and lab validation of Linux BSP and userspace tools for automated test equipment.
• Work with Hardware, Software, and Systems engineering to provide interfaces to complex hardware systems.
• Implement scalable, high-performance, high-quality, extensible, and maintainable code.
• Build, deployment, and test automation of the systems you’ll create and improve.
