You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers, interact with customers, and grow into broader responsibilities. The role requires 8–12+ years of firmware experience, strong C/C++, RTOS, Linux, and microcontroller expertise.

Qualifications

• BS in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, or related engineering disciplines.
• 8-12+ years of firmware engineering experience on a variety of hardware platforms.
• Consulting: experience interfacing with internal and external clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to describe technical concepts.
• Electromechanical: strong background with hardware/firmware interaction.
• Debugging: experience with logic analyzers, DMMs, and oscilloscopes.
• Micros & Interfaces: UART, SPI, I2C, USB, GPIO, ADC, PWM.
• Programming: C/C++, scripting (Python); ARM-based Linux, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc.
• Dev Tools: IDEs, cross-compilers, source control (git), Jira.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for medical devices, robotics, industrial automation, and consumer electronics.
• Learn across disciplines and acquire additional responsibilities over time.
• Interact directly with customers to learn needs, discuss capabilities, and demonstrate solutions.
• Work closely with electrical and mechanical engineers.
• Support hardware demonstrations with customers as needed.
• Be part of a diverse team of engineers and maintain work-life balance.
