Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer for the Spectacles team. You will develop embedded software for micro-display systems, design features for display ASICs and host tools, and maintain build environments to enable efficient validation and release.

Collaboration with EE, ASIC, and production teams is essential. Qualified candidates have 5+ years in embedded development, strong C/C++, and Python skills, plus experience with hardware/software bring-up and system-level

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of embedded software or firmware development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for embedded systems.
• Experience debugging hardware/software integration in consumer electronics.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software and firmware for display and micro-display systems across implementation, integration, validation and release.
• Design and validate features for display ASICs, modules, microcontrollers, and host tools.
• Maintain build environments and tooling for efficient validation and release.
• Create test plans and test code to verify new features before production.
