Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Specs team and help build immersive AR experiences on Snap Spectacles. You will design, implement, and optimize reusable OS components, SDKs, and frameworks within a fast-paced hardware-software environment.

You will collaborate with design, interactive engineering, and product teams to shape features, participate in code reviews, and deliver high-performance, scalable code across devices with 3D graphics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong track record delivering high-quality, scalable code with tests.

Responsibilities

• Design, improve, and support reusable components, interactions, frameworks and SDKs for immersive experiences on Snap Spectacles AR glasses.
• Develop components of the operating system powering Spectacles, SnapOS.
• Participate in code and design reviews.
• Collaborate with design, interactive engineering, and product teams to shape and launch products.
