Job summary

DriveNets is seeking a Software Engineer for the Hardware Software team to develop BSPs and low-level firmware for carrier-grade networking hardware. You will bring up new platforms and collaborate with hardware, platform, and system architects to enable high-performance networking.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, embedded Linux expertise, and experience with SoCs, board bring-up, and hardware debugging tools in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for low-level system development.
• Strong experience with embedded Linux, bootloaders, kernel configuration, and driver development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain BSP components including bootloaders, device trees, and hardware abstraction layers.
• Design and implement firmware and low-level drivers for network hardware (ASICs, NICs, SoCs, CPLDs, FPGAs).
• Support hardware bring-up and board validation with hardware engineers and system integrators.
• Work on performance optimization, debugging, and stability of system software on embedded Linux.
• Interface with third-party SDKs and adapt them to DriveNets’ software infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for networking and embedded systems.
