Insight Global is seeking a Senior Embedded Coder to support aerospace power distribution electronics. You will develop firmware, adhere to DO-178, and drive the full software lifecycle from design to delivery.

Responsibilities include architecture planning, MCUs programming (Arm Cortex and 16-bit PIC), and implementing bootloaders. You will work with LabView, Python, Excel, and MATLAB/Octave, while enabling CI/CD with GitLab and rigorous debugging.

Qualifications

• Experience developing firmware under DO-178 lifecycle.
• Ability to design and document software architecture.
• Hands-on programming for Arm Cortex and PIC microcontrollers.
• Familiarity with serial protocols (RS485, SPI, I2C, CAN, ARINC 429).
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation in GitLab.

Responsabilités

• Develop new firmware and revise existing firmware for aerospace power electronics.
• Generate deliverables and documentation for DO-178 compliance.
• Architect, plan, and document software components and interfaces.
• Program Arm Cortex and 16-bit PIC MCUs and validate via debugging tools.
• Implement bootloaders and ensure cybersecurity features including image verification.
