Job summary

RTX’s Senior Embedded Software Engineer role is onsite in Tucson, AZ. You will architect and implement real-time embedded software for firmware and hardware solutions, coordinating with a cross-disciplinary team to meet stringent mission requirements. A transferable U.S.

security clearance is required, with program access after start. Onsite work at Tucson campus. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in embedded software and a STEM degree, plus hands-on experience with RTOS and hardware/software

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Embedded C++ software and software architecture design.
• Experience with RTOS: Green Hills, Integrity, VxWorks, or Linux.
• Experience integrating hardware, firmware and software in complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, test, debug embedded real-time software.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary IPT to refine product concepts and ensure quality.
• Mentor and coach less experienced staff; participate in design reviews.
