Job summary

RTX’s Software Engineering Directorate in Tucson, AZ, is seeking engineers to contribute to real-time embedded software, with a focus on development and testing of new and existing systems. The role requires working onsite at our Tucson campus and advancing capabilities across real-time software, cyber and DevOps domains.

Candidates should have STEM degrees and at least two years of relevant experience, plus C/C++ proficiency and hardware-software integration skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in science, tech, engineering or math (STEM) and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C++, C, or other object-oriented language.
• Experience with hardware-software integration and embedded system testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software and tools.
• Design, code, test, integrate and document software solutions.
• Participate in internal review of software components and systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers.
• Work on problems with defined scope, schedule and expectations.
• Follow established development practices and configuration management.
