Job summary

Airloom Energy is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to design and implement real-time control software for our wind-energy platform. You will develop C/C++ applications for embedded controllers and collaborate with hardware teams to validate performance on prototypes.

Based in the United States with locations in Laramie, WY or Orange County, CA, you will contribute across disciplines to deliver reliable, scalable energy solutions.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant embedded systems experience.
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
Demonstrated C/C++ programming for embedded and real-time systems.
Experience with motor controllers, generator controls, and power electronics.
Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink or similar modeling tools.
Ability to work across cross-functional teams and resolve issues in real time.

Responsibilities

Conceptual design with cross-functional teams.
Analyze designs to optimize performance.
Prototype, test, and validate concepts.
Support manufacturing to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Create comprehensive technical documentation.
Integrate safety-critical systems and perform failure analysis.
