Airloom Energy seeks a Senior Embedded Engineer to design and implement control systems for its lightweight wind turbine technology in an in-person role in California. You will lead real-time firmware development and hardware-software integration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded/real-time systems experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficient in C/C++ for embedded and real-time environments.
• Experience with motor controllers, generator controls and power electronics.
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink or similar modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative design concepts.
• Conduct analyses to optimize designs and ensure performance.
• Oversee prototyping and testing of hardware/software concepts.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure cost-effective, manufacturable designs.
• Create comprehensive design and test documentation.
• Integrate safety-critical systems with failure modes analysis and real-time troubleshooting.
