Airloom seeks an experienced embedded systems engineer to design and develop electrical control systems for lightweight wind turbine technology. You will work on real-time C/C++ software, sensor integration, and data acquisition in a cross-functional team environment.

The role emphasizes modeling, simulation, and validation of control algorithms, with emphasis on safety-critical system integration and manufacturability. On-site collaboration in a fast-paced engineering setting is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Demonstrated capability with C/C++ programming for embedded and real-time systems.
• Experience with motor controllers, generator controls, and power electronics is highly relevant.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative concepts and solutions.
• Conduct analyses to optimize designs and ensure performance.
• Oversee the fabrication, planning, and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts.
• Work closely with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost effective.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and engineering documentation.
• Capability to integrate safety-critical systems with understanding of failure modes and real-time troubleshooting.
