Airloom Energy is building the next era of resilient, utility-scale power with a lightweight wind turbine approach. The team designs and integrates electrical control systems, builds real-time embedded software, and validates performance through prototypes and tests.

They seek engineers with hands-on hardware integration skills, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and a strong background in power electronics and safety-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated capability with C/C++ programming for embedded and real-time systems.
• Experience with motor controllers, generator controls, and power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative concepts and solutions.
• Analysis: Conduct analyses to optimize designs and ensure performance.
• Prototyping and Testing: Oversee fabrication, planning, and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts.
• Manufacturing Support: Work with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost effective.
• Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical docs, test reports, and engineering documentation.
• Critical safety systems integration: Understand failure modes, hazards analysis, and actions for real-time troubleshooting.
