Job summary

Plusai is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to join the runtime team responsible for on-vehicle AD system integration, AUTOSAR stack work, and core feature development. You will implement CAN interfaces, UDS/DEM diagnostics, and bring-up new vehicle platforms and actuators, with frequent travel to partner proving grounds.

You will also diagnose issues, optimize performance, and document results for customer validation, collaborating across cross-functional teams to meet quality

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C programming and embedded software development.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for on-vehicle testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate CAN DBCs into AUTOSAR stack across vehicle platforms.
• Maintain and fine-tune autonomous safety features within AUTOSAR.
• Design and implement AUTOSAR UDS and DEM stack.
• Develop autonomous software diagnostics stack and DTC reporting.
• Troubleshoot vehicle and system issues with partners and internal teams.
• Support new vehicle platform bring-up, flashing, sensor/ECU configuration.
• Create and execute vehicle tests and testing campaigns.
• Travel up to 50% for on-vehicle testing and validation.
• Ensure QMS compliance and drive process improvements.
