Job summary

Plusai is seeking a senior embedded software engineer to join the runtime team, focusing on on-vehicle AD system integration, CAN interfaces, and AUTOSAR safety domain. You will collaborate cross-functionally to define and implement sensor and vehicle interfaces, diagnostics, and bring‑up activities for new platforms.

You will develop tools and procedures for vehicle bring‑up, and travel to partners' proving grounds for on‑vehicle testing.

Qualifications

Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in C Programming.
Knowledge of AUTOSAR and UDS/DEM stacks.
Experience with embedded software in AUTOSAR and real‑time systems.
Willingness to travel up to 50% and work around Class-8 commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

Integrate CAN DBCs from different vehicle platforms into the AUTOSAR stack.
Maintain and fine‑tune autonomous safety features within the AUTOSAR stack.
Design and implement AUTOSAR UDS and DEM stack.
Design and implement autonomous software diagnostics and DTC reporting.
Support troubleshooting of vehicle and system issues reported by partners and internal teams.
Bring up new vehicle platforms, flash sensors/ECUs, and resolve integration issues.
Create and execute vehicle tests and testing campaigns per requirements.
Execute development tests in coordination with test management and developers.
Travel up to 50% for on‑vehicle testing of embedded systems and ADAS stacks.
Ensure QMS compliance and drive continuous improvement in processes.
