Job summary

Plusai is seeking an experienced automotive software engineer to join the runtime team. You will integrate CAN DBCs from multiple vehicle platforms into the AUTOSAR stack, maintain autonomous safety features, and design UDS/DEM components for ADAS and autonomous driving systems.

The role requires hands-on AUTOSAR and real-time embedded development, with frequent collaboration across cross-functional teams. Travel up to 50% and adherence to QMS are expected.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in CS, Mechatronics, or EE.
• Proficient in C programming; embedded/RTOS experience.
• Willing to travel up to 50% and work with AUTOSAR in automotive domains.
• Experience with AUTOSAR DEM/UDS and DTC design.

Responsibilities

• Integrate CAN DBCs from different vehicle platforms into AUTOSAR stack.
• Maintain and fine-tune autonomous safety features in AUTOSAR.
• Design and implement AUTOSAR UDS and DEM stacks.
• Develop autonomous safety diagnostics and event chains.
• Troubleshoot vehicle/system issues from partners and tests.
• Support new vehicle platform bring-up, flashing sensors/ECUs.
• Create and execute vehicle test plans per requirements.
• Coordinate development tests with test managers and developers.
• Travel up to 50% for on-vehicle testing of embedded systems.
• Ensure work complies with QMS and drive process improvements.
• Ensure team adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement.
